East Coast Brake Rebuilders’ new BMS Paint System is now operational.
The new system, one of the first of its kind in the industry, provides extensive cleaning of the brakes and eliminates the risk of rust jacking or flash rusting.
C.K. Gregory, East Coast Brake Rebuilders Vice President and General Manager, says completely eliminating chlorides and rust extracts 100 percent of the value from the brake shoe, in addition to increasing the shelf life.
“What’s even better is this new system is an automated dip coating system that coats our shoes in ‘twice the thickness’ after all soluble salts are removed,” he says. “When combined with ECBR’s quality workmanship, this thick coating will give you approximately three years of corrosion-free life.”
