NationaLease appoints new tech and maintenance boss

NationaLease has named Joe Puff Vice President of Truck Technology and Maintenance.

“With more than 35 years of experience in complex sales and fleet operations…he will be our go-to person when it comes to new technologies and trends in the trucking industry,” says Dean Vicha, President of NationaLease.

In this position, Puff will work directly with NationaLease members, advising them on the latest truck technology, including specifications of vehicles and maintenance best practices. He will meet with truck and engine manufacturers, advocating on behalf of members. Responsibilities also include coordinating and executing NationaLease’s annual Tech Challenge, including participation at TMC SuperTech.

Prior to this position, Puff served as Vice President of Operations for Interstate NationaLease, an organization member, and Chief Operating Officer at Atlantic Truck Center. In addition, Puff spent 27 years with Ryder, holding a number of positions within that organization.
