Meritor directors named to list of Most Influential Black Corporate Directors

Two members of Meritor’s Board of Directors are among Savoy Magazine’s 2016 Most Influential Black Corporate Directors.

Meritor’s Joseph Anderson, Jr. and Lloyd Trotter, along with 298 other directors serving on the boards of public companies, are profiled in the summer issue of Savoy, a leading business magazine reporting on African American success and achievement. The profiles appear in special coverage headlined “Power 300: 2016 Most Influential Black Corporate Directors.”

Anderson, a Meritor director since 1997, is chairman and CEO of TAG Holdings and its subsidiaries. He also served as chairman of the board and CEO of Chivas Industries LLC and was president and CEO of Composite Energy Management Systems, Inc. He held a variety of positions, primarily in manufacturing, at General Motors Corp. and was an assistant to the U.S. secretary of commerce. Anderson is a director of Quaker Chemical Corp. and Rite Aid Corp. and a former director of NV Energy and Valassis Communications, Inc.

Trotter, a Meritor director since 2015, is founder and managing partner of GenNx360. Previously, he held various executive positions with General Electric, retiring as vice chairman and president and chief executive officer of GE Industrial. Trotter is also a director of PepsiCo, Inc. and Textron Inc. and is a former director of Daimler AG.
