The Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association (HDMA), the Commercial Vehicle Division of the Motor and Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA), has announced Stu MacKay and John Blodgett of MacKay & Company will speak at Heavy Duty Dialogue’16 (HDD’16) on Nov. 9, 2016, at the Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix.
Their segment, North American Commercial Vehicle Outlook, will review MacKay & Company’s MacForecast program, used to forecast anticipated demand for new medium-duty and Class 8 power equipment as well as trailers. MacForecast integrates several supply and demand factors driving the commercial vehicle market, including the historical track, present position and anticipated outlook. Blodgett and MacKay also will briefly discuss the commercial vehicle engine outlook, with particular emphasis on alternatives to traditional power, the company says.
