Phillips provides information on troubleshooting lighting

The December issue of Qwik Tech Tips, a monthly newsletter published by Phillips Industries, outlines how best to troubleshoot trailer lights when they are not working properly, the company says.

Under the new Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Comprehensive Safety Analysis (CSA) measurement system, a vehicle found operating with inoperative lamps negatively affects the carrier’s safety performance data, and also is one of the most common causes for a driver to be pulled over, Phillips says. The Qwik Tech Tips article is said to give a basic guideline to determine the cause and possible quick fix if trailer lighting fails saving a citation or roadside inspection negative score. A downloadable copy of this article can be accessed at www.phillipsqwiktechtips.com, where Phillips says you also can sign up for the Qwik Tech Tips newsletter.
