TRC Reman video offers technical guidance for removing transmission ECU

TRC Reman has released a video providing guidance on the proper procedure to follow when removing and installing a transmission electronic control unit.

TRC says there are three primary suppliers of automated manual transmissions (AMT) currently; Eaton, Volvo/Mack and Daimler. TRC says its video shows the steps to remove and install a TECU on a Volvo i-Shift. It is critical to follow proper procedures to extend the life of your product and reduce downtime.
