Peterbilt crowns top parts and service dealers

A trio of Peterbilt dealers were honored for their parts and service prowess earlier this month at the OEM’s annual dealer meeting.

Peterbilt named Peterbilt Manitoba as its Peterbilt First Class Service Excellence Dealer of the Year, The Larson Group as its North American Parts and Service Dealer of the Year, and Peterbilt of Atlanta as the TRP Dealer of the Year.

According to Peterbilt, the First Class Service Excellence award is chosen by measuring Peterbilt service locations by the award’s performance criteria. Peterbilt Manitoba had the highest comprehensive dealer group score.

“Whether it’s advanced diagnostic equipment to assess and repair problems quickly or highly skilled technicians who know your application and vehicle, the Peterbilt dealership network sets the bar high when it comes to maximizing our customers’ uptime,” says Mike Conroy, director of Field Service. “The First Class Service Excellence Award recognizes the best of the best, and is a true testament to Peterbilt of Manitoba and their commitment to customer satisfaction.”

Doug Danylchuk, dealer principal, accepted the award for the dealership.

Measuring the service performance of dealer groups within the Peterbilt network makes us all rise to the occasion and improve our customers’ experiences.”

The Larson Group was honored for a commitment to support and service that spans the entire truck ownership experience, Peterbilt says.

“The Larson Group fully utilized parts, service and support technologies offered by Peterbilt and Paccar Parts in 2016,” says David Danforth, Paccar Parts general manager and Paccar vice president. “They achieved outstanding performance in each Standard of Excellence category, maintained an excellent absorption rate, and were the first in the Peterbilt network to open a TRP all makes parts store.”

Glenn Larson, president and dealer principal of The Larson Group, accepted the award along with Chief Operating Officer Kory Larson.

In winning the TRP award, Peterbilt and Paccar Parts noted Peterbilt of Atlanta’s exceptional sales performance and customer service, as well as the 2016 opening of a TRP all makes parts store in Conley, Ga.
