Worldwide Equipment tech earns Navistar certification

Ben Bird, a technician at Worldwide Equipment‘s Cross Lanes Bus location, has become a Diamond Certified Technician with Navistar.

As of today, there are only 469 Diamond Certified Technicians in the United States and Canada. Of these 469 technicians, 147 took the test to qualify for the 11th Navistar Rodeo that is held in Chicago. Only five technicians were selected based on this test to compete on Aug. 24, 2017. The competition consisted of 12 stations ranging from Bus Body, Engine Diagnostic, to Online Service Information, the company says.

Bird participated, and was made aware of his success last week and awarded with a trophy and a Snap-on toolbox. This is an amazing competition to win and Worldwide Equipment says it is proud to have Bird working at its bus division in Cross Lanes, W.V.
