We are at it again. With December nearing its midpoint and 2024 in sight, it is once again time to countdown the ten most popular new product releases published on Trucks, Parts, Service this year.
This is tenth year of our countdown and, as it has been since 2014, every product highlighted in our countdown earned its position based on reader engagement on our website. NEXIQ earned the top spot on our countdown last year, the seventh company in nine years to top our list.
NEXIQ will return to our list again this year, as will several companies who have become mainstays on our annual list. But we also will recognize three companies for the first time this year. Beginning today, we will countdown one product every day (save Dec. 25), with our top product of the year being announced on Friday, Dec. 29.
Without further ado, we begin our 2023 TPS top products countdown with Minimizer.
This is the eighth time Minimizer has earned the top spot on our list, but first time since 2019. The High Bar Brands' business comes in at No. 10 with its Paccar medium-duty floor mats, first released in May.
Minimizer said the mats released in May were designed to fit 2023-2024 models of the Kenworth T280, T380, and T480, as well as the Peterbilt 536, 537, and 538. The floor mats were laser-measured and feature a raised edge, preventing materials from escaping the mat, the company adds.
“Our customers have requested floor mats for Paccar’s new medium-duty line of trucks, and to my knowledge, we are the only company offering custom molded floor mats for these trucks,” says High Bar Brands' Product Development Director Chandler Nault.
