After consecutive new arrivals in our top countdown Tuesday and Wednesday, we return to a mainstay at No. 6 today.
Snap-on makes its eighth appearance in the ten years of our countdown with its 21-piece air hammer bit foam set. Snap-on was not featured in our countdown in 2022 but was a regular from 2017 to 2021. The company had our top product in 2018 and 2019, and also was runner up on our 2020 list.
The company's air hammer bit foam set, debuted in August, features a wide range of punches, hammers, and chisels along with a scraper, sheet metal ripper, double-bladed panel cutter, ball joint/tie rod separator and spot weld breaker.
By using the set, Snap-on says technicians will no longer need to search for air hammer bits when they're secured in contrast-colored foam for quick identification. For added protection, the foam resists oils, solvents, and fuels. Even handier, this 19.24" W x 13.32" L x 1.73" set fits in a 2" deep drawer, and its .401 high-strength steel alloy turn-type shank bits have a Zinc Clear Chromate finish for added shine and visibility that is corrosion resistant, Snap-on adds.
