No. 4 on our 2025 top products countdown

Today, we recognize our last new participant on the annual Trucks, Parts, Service top ten products countdown.

Tire maker Michelin clocks in at No. 4 this year, earning its first position on our year-end countdown with its X Line Grip D tire, a long-haul drive tire released in July.

SmartWay verified, Michelin stated the tire is a “once-in-a-lifetime” leap in tire technology for fleets. Available in sizes 295/75R22.5 and 11R22.5 and will help fleets control their operational costs, providing 20% more mileage and 20% reduction in rolling resistance than the Michelin XDN2 tire, the company added.

Xlgd 1 y5f Itr WqamIt also features a durable casing designed to reach up to a million miles with up to four retread.

“We at Michelin are dedicated to evolving tire performance through relentless innovation and ongoing technological advancements,” said Pierluigi Cumo, vice president of B2B Marketing at Michelin North America. “That’s why Michelin is proud to introduce the Michelin X Line Grip D tire. This tire has the potential to redefine the drive tire standard in fleets for years to come. It is not an evolution to existing products, but something entirely different the fleet world has not seen before.”
