After four straight days of welcoming new participants to the annual Trucks, Parts, Service top ten products countdown, we enter the top five with a company making its second consecutive appearance on our list.

Ex-Guard returns to the countdown after its first appearance in 2024 with its front-end protection guard for the fifth-generation Freightliner Cascadia. 

Released in March, the XG-150G3 Cascadia protects the bumper, grille, radiator, collision mitigation sensors, hood and headlights of the truck. 

54362817142 5d1b081e69 C 67c71ce87e6f0Ex-Guard stated the new guard features lift assist, which helps raise and lower the guard, and is made of 8-gauge, high-tensile steel coated with 3mm of EVRCoast PVC finish. It has LEVRLock dual latches and an additional cross bar for increased grille coverage. 

“This guard is by far the most advanced model our team has ever produced,” said Jeremy Drever, Ex-Guard’s director of engineering. “The design has to work in harmony alongside all the advanced sensor technology of the Cascadia to provide an unprecedented balance of protection and value. We’ve already had several of the industry-leading fleets place orders for this guard.”

Ex-Guard also released a new grille guards for Class 2-5 Ford, Chevy and Ram trucks at the same time.
