No. 3 on our 2025 top products countdown

A long-time regular and prior honoree of the top spot on our annual Trucks, Parts, Service top ten products countdown checks in at No. 3 today. 

Snap-on, which earned the top spot on our countdown in 2018 and 2019, makes its tenth appearance on our annual list with its PRO-LINK+ diagnostic tool.

Introduced in March and designed for Class 1-8 vehicles, Snap-on stated the tool combines hardware and software for a complete code-based diagnostic and repair platform for all-makes of trucks. 

The company added the PRO-LINK+ the vehicle communication interface has been validated by all major OEMs and creates a reliable wireless or wired connection and supports the latest protocols including CAN FD and DoIP. 

“Effective diagnostic troubleshooting is often cited as the most significant challenge facing commercial vehicle technicians today, said Mark Ganey, senior product manager, Snap-on Tools. 

“The PRO-LINK+ is a complete diagnostic system designed to address this need. The proprietary hardware and software combine OEM-level diagnostic capabilities, hundreds of special tests and calibrations, with code-based repair information, including wiring diagrams and photos of component locations to make PRO-LINK+ the essential diagnostic companion.”
