Innovative Products of America (IPA) has launched the #4105 SMART MUTT X series for testing five of the most common trailer types with one unit.
IPA says Model #4105 supersedes IPA’s #9004A SMART MUTT with new features and capabilities.
"The SMART MUTT X is designed for our customers who work on a range of trailers utilizing semi, RV, utility, boat and horse trailer-type connections," says Ian Vinci, president, IPA. "The SMART MUTTX is microprocessor controlled and can be electronically switched to different trailer-type modes. Each mode optimizes system programming by pin type to simplify and speed up inspections for our customers."
IPA says new features include:
- A larger processor for future expandability
- 7-way round and 7-way flat connections; and
- A 12-button remote specifically designed for the SMART MUTT X series.
The company adds customers who already use the #9004A and #9004M SMART MUTT models will be thrilled with the superior design and capabilities.
