Eaton to participate in Hybrid, Electric and High Efficiency Truck Users Forum

Eaton1The Eaton Corporation will play a role at the upcoming Hybrid, Electric and High Efficiency Truck Users Forum (HTUF) 2011 National Conference in Baltimore, Md.

HTUF is a national, multi-year, user-driven program to speed the commercialization of medium- and heavy-duty hybrid and high-efficiency technologies. It is operated by CALSTART in partnership with the U.S. Army’s National Automotive Center (NAC), with project support from the Hewlett Foundation and the Department of Energy.

Eaton is a founding member of HTUF and says it will be active on multiple panels throughout the three-day event including:

  • Gerard W. Devito, director of engineering, Eaton Hybrid Power Systems Division, who will be addressing a session on Hydraulic Hybrid Solutions on Oct. 12.
  • Alex Stucky, hybrid vehicle integration manager, Eaton Hybrid Power Systems Division, who will be speaking at the Hybrid Engine/System Optimization session, Oct. 12.
  • Craig Jacobs, chief systems engineer, Eaton Hybrid Power Systems Division, who will participate in a session on Battery Technology Development Updates, Oct.12.
  • Kevin Snow, chief applications and integration engineer, Eaton Hybrid Power Systems Division, who will be speaking at the Driver Behavior/Training session, Oct. 12.
