The following safety recalls were issued Monday by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA):

  • Aluminum Trailer Company is recalling certain 2021-2023 Commercial Office trailers equipped with CK7G generators. The insulated exhaust port outlet may fail, which can result in damage to other components. An exhaust port failure increases the risk of a fire. NHTSA says 12 units are potentially affected by the recall.
  • Ford Motor Company is recalling certain 2024 Transit vehicles. The front gross axle weight rating may be labeled incorrectly on the vehicle B-pillar label and the owner's manual label, which can result in an overloaded vehicle. An overloaded vehicle may result in steering knuckle failure and a loss of steering control, increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 373 units are potentially affected by the recall.
  • Forest River is recalling certain 2024-2025 Salem SBF325RL, and Wildwood WBF325RL travel trailers. The tires may contact chassis components, causing the tires to fail. Tire failure can cause a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 132 units are potentially affected by the recall.
  • Forest River is recalling certain 2024 Forest River Salem, and Wildwood travel trailers. The tire may contact the outrigger, causing the tire to fail. Tire failure can cause a loss of control, increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 34 units are potentially affected by the recall.
  • Kalmar Solutions is recalling certain 2016-2017 Ottawa T2 6X4 vehicles. The air tanks have an insufficient volume of air for the brake system. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 121, "Air Brake Systems." Insufficient air volume can reduce braking performance and increase the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 96 units are potentially affected by the recall.
  • McNeilus Truck & Manufacturing is recalling certain 2015-2024 Zero Radius refuse trucks. The side loader arm may not be properly secured, resulting in unexpected movement while driving. A side loader arm that unexpectedly extends out from the vehicle body while driving increases the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 4,262 units are potentially affected by the recall.
  • OEM Systems is recalling certain 2024 Chevrolet Silverado vehicles. The rear bumper mounting bracket may not be sufficient for towing, which can allow the towed trailer to detach from the vehicle. A trailer that detaches from a vehicle while driving increases the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 38 units are potentially affected by the recall.
