Safety Recalls

The following safety recalls were issued Monday by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA):

  • Ford Motor Company is recalling certain 2015 F-250, F-350, F-450, Expedition, Lincoln Navigator, and MKC vehicles. The rearview camera printed circuit board terminal header connector may be loose or damaged, which can result in a blank or distorted image. A blank or distorted rearview camera image can reduce the driver's view of what is behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 160,729 units are potentially affected by the recall.
  • Ford Motor Company is recalling certain 2025 F-150 vehicles. The air bag warning label may be missing from the dashboard. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection." A missing air bag warning label will not warn occupants about the risks of air bag deployment, increasing the risk of injury in a crash. NHTSA says 326 units are potentially affected by the recall.
  • Forest River is recalling certain 2025 Stealth and XLR fifth wheel travel trailers. The front exterior accent lamp wire may not have proper over current circuit protection. Wiring without circuit protection may become damaged and short circuit, increasing the risk of a fire. NHTSA says 59 units are potentially affected by the recall.
  • Forest River Bus is recalling certain 2025 Champion Challenger transit buses. The entry door ground wire may be incorrectly connected to the positive side of the battery instead of the negative ground. An incorrect ground connection increases the risk of a fire. NHTSA says 15 units are potentially affected by the recall.
  • General Motors is recalling certain 2021-2024 Cadillac Escalade and Escalade ESV, Chevrolet Silverado 1500, Suburban, and Tahoe, GMC Sierra 1500, Yukon, and Yukon XL vehicles equipped with a 6.2L V8 gas engine. The connecting rod and/or crankshaft engine components may have manufacturing defects that can lead to engine damage and engine failure. Engine failure increases the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 597,571 units are potentially affected by the recall.
  • International Motors is recalling certain 2025-2026 HV, HX, LT, MV, and RH vehicles. The linkage that connects the right-side wiper arm to the motor may separate, causing the wipers to fail. Windshield wiper failure can reduce driver visibility, increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 14,786 units are potentially affected by the recall.
