The following safety recalls were issued Tuesday by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA):
- Autocar is recalling certain 2024-2026 ACX (Xpeditor) and DC (Legend) vehicles. The tie rod clamp may have been improperly secured. The tie rod clamp can separate from the vehicle, resulting in a loss of steering control and increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 2,848 units are potentially affected by the recall.
- Ford Motor Company is recalling certain 2020-2022 F-250 SD, F-350 SD, and F-450 SD vehicles. The 360-degree view camera system may not display a rearview image properly in certain lighting conditions. A rearview camera image that does not display properly can reduce the driver’s view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 291,901 units are potentially affected by the recall.
- Supreme Corporation is recalling certain 2025 Wabash insulated truck body vehicles. The assembly bolts used to attach the auxiliary battery box may be misaligned, allowing the bolts to break. Misaligned bolts can allow the battery box to detach from the vehicle, becoming a road hazard and increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 137 units are potentially affected by the recall.
