Safety Recalls

The following safety recalls were issued Monday by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA):

  • Daimler Vans USA is recalling certain 2023-2024 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 vehicles. The right longitudinal frame member may not be reinforced properly, decreasing the structural integrity of the third-row seats. Third-row seats with inadequate strength may fail to protect occupants, increasing the risk of injury in a crash. NHTSA says 366 units are potentially affected by the recall.
  • Ford Motor Company is recalling certain 2021-2022 Expedition, Lincoln Navigator, 2021-2023 F-150, 2022 F-250 SD, F-350 SD, and F-450 SD vehicles. The moonroof wind deflector clips may be inadequately attached to the moonroof frame, which can result in the wind deflector detaching from the vehicle. A detached wind deflector can become a road hazard and increase the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 174,853 units are potentially affected by the recall.
  • Ford Motor Company is recalling certain 2022-2023 F-150 Lightning BEV vehicles previously repaired under recall number 23V418. The rear lightbar may have microcracks in the outer lens that allows moisture to accumulate, which can result in inoperative or flickering reverse lights. Inoperative or flickering reverse lights may not alert other driver's that the vehicle is reversing, increasing the risk of injury or crash. NHTSA says 14,843 units are potentially affected by the recall.
  • Ford Motor Company is recalling certain 2026 Econoline vehicles. The heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) system blower motor may fail, which can cause the defrosting and defogging system to become inoperative. An inoperative windshield defrosting and defogging system may decrease the driver's visibility, increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 6,909 units are potentially affected by the recall.
  • Forest River is recalling certain 2021 XLR Toy Hauler travel trailers. The mounting brackets may be improperly located or secured, allowing the fresh water tank to detach when full. A detached water thank can create a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 1,868 units are potentially affected by the recall.
  • Isuzu Motors Limited is recalling certain 2022-2026 Isuzu FVR, 2023-2026 Chevrolet 7500XD, 2018-2026 Chevrolet 6500XD, and Isuzu FTR vehicles. The axle stabilizer bracket bolts may crack and break, allowing the bracket to detach from the vehicle. A detached axle stabilizer bracket can create a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 17,084 units are potentially affected by the recall.
  • Jayco is recalling certain 2025-2026 Entegra Condor and Jayco Granite Ridge motorhomes. The Certification Label may have the front and rear axle information reversed. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 CFR Part 567, "Certification." A tire can be over or under inflated after referencing the incorrect information, increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 100 units are potentially affected by the recall.
  • Prevost Car is recalling certain 2025 X3-45 Commuter buses. The wheelchair seat belt anchorage may have been improperly installed. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages." An improperly installed seat belt anchorage can detach during a crash, increasing the risk of injury. NHTSA says 31 units are potentially affected by the recall.
  • REV Recreation Group is recalling certain 2024-2026 Holiday Rambler Invicta and Fleetwood Fortis recreational vehicles equipped with Lippert Paddle latches with part number 2021097882. The paddle latch may unintentionally lock, preventing operators from accessing the Liquid Propane (LP) compartment. An inability to access the LP compartment can increase the risk of a fire. NHTSA says 239 units are potentially affected by the recall.
  • Tesla is recalling certain 2024 Cybertruck vehicles equipped with a service-installed off-road light bar accessory. An incorrect surface primer may have been used to attach the lightbar to the windshield, causing the light bar to loosen and detach. A detached light bar may fall, creating a road hazard for other vehicles and increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 6,197 units are potentially affected by the recall.
