The following safety recalls were issued Monday by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA):
- Chrysler is recalling certain 2021-2022 Ram 1500, Ram 2500, Ram 3500, Ram 4500, and Ram 5500 vehicles. The steering column control module may cause the driver's side air bag not to deploy as intended. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection." A driver's side air bag that does not deploy as intended increases the risk of injury in a crash. NHTSA says 532 units are potentially affected by the recall.
- Corp. Micro Bird is recalling certain 2023-2026 G5 and 2025 T-Series school buses equipped with certain QRT-Deluxe and QRT-Max wheelchair restraints. The retractors may not lock, preventing the wheelchair from being properly secured. An unlocked wheelchair can move during transit or during a crash, increasing the risk of injury. NHTSA says 180 units are potentially affected by the recall.
- Corp. Micro Bird is recalling certain 2024-2026 G5 and 2025 T-Series transit buses equipped with certain QRT-Deluxe and QRT-Max wheelchair restraints. The axle clamp fasteners may be loose, which can result in a loss of vehicle control. A loss of vehicle control increases the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 18,783 units are potentially affected by the recall.

NHTSA says 592 units are potentially affected by the recall.
- Forest River Bus is recalling certain 2026-2027 Collins School Bus and 2025-2026 Trans Tech School Bus vehicles equipped with certain QRT-Deluxe and QRT-Max wheelchair restraints. NHTSA says 165 units are potentially affected by the recall.
- General Motors is recalling certain 2019-2020 Chevrolet Silverado Medium Duty 4500HD, 5500HD, and 6500HD vehicles. These vehicles were remedied under NHTSA Recall 25V390 with a brake jumper wire harness that was assembled without protective tape. A wiring harness that is missing protective tape can allow the wires to become damaged. Damaged brake jumper wires can result in power brake assist failure, increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 891 units are potentially affected by the recall.
- International Motors is recalling certain 2019-2020 CV vehicles. The brake pressure switch harness may not have protective material on the wires, causing a short circuit and reducing brake performance. Reduced brake performance can extend stopping distance and increase the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 159 units are potentially affected by the recall.
- McNeilus Truck & Manufacturing is recalling certain 2024-2025 Volterra side loader trucks. The intermediate side reflex reflectors may be missing. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of FMVSS number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment." Missing reflectors can reduce the vehicle's visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 115 units are potentially affected by the recall.
- McNeilus Truck & Manufacturing is recalling certain 2021-2025 Metro Pak vehicles. The side and rear reflex reflectors and rear clearance lights may be missing. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of FMVSS number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment." Missing reflectors and rear clearance lights can reduce the vehicle's visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 70 units are potentially affected by the recall.
