
The following safety recalls were issued Monday by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA):
- Forest River is recalling certain 2023-2026 Forest River Work and Play, 2024-2026 East to West Takoda, Coachmen Chaparral, 2025-2026 Shasta Phoenix, 2023-2025 Forest River Riverstone, 2022-2026 Coachmen Adrenaline, and 2025 Forest River Cedar Creek fifth wheel travel trailers. The ramp door may break away from the door frame while loading or unloading vehicles. A ramp door that breaks during use increases the risk of injury. NHTSA says 515 units are potentially affected by the recall.
- Forest River is recalling certain 2026 Freelander motorhomes. The solar panel wire may have been incorrectly connected to a breaker without over-current protection. NHTSA says 16 units are potentially affected by the recall.
- Forest River Bus is recalling certain 2025-2026 Trans Tech school buses. The modified seating floor plan may exceed the the rear Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR). As such these vehicles fail to comply with the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 120, "Wheels and Rims - Other Than Passenger Cars." NHTSA says 67 units are potentially affected by the recall.
- Keystone RV Company is recalling certain 2025-2026 Fuzion, Raptor, Redwood, and 2024-2026 Voltage travel trailers. The ramp door may break away from the door frame while loading or unloading vehicles. A ramp door that breaks during use increases the risk of injury. NHTSA says 1,081 units are potentially affected by the recall.
- Paccar is recalling certain 2025 Kenworth L770 and 2024-2026 Peterbilt 520 vehicles. The right-hand stand-up (RHSU) configuration on the steering cross-shaft may become stressed and fail. A steering cross-shaft that fails can cause a loss of steering control, increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 219 units are potentially affected by the recall.
- Terex South Dakota is recalling certain 2025 TL-Series, LT-Series, LTM40, HR40, HR46, and SCM55 areal device vehicles. The control valve may have been assembled with an incorrect plug, causing the hydraulic equipment to overheat. Touching parts of the overheated hydraulic equipment can increase the risk of burn injuries. NHTSA says 88 units are potentially affected by the recall.
- Winnebago Industries is recalling certain 2024-2026 Spirit, Minnie Winnie, Travato, View, Navion, and 2026-2027 Sunflyer motorhomes equipped with a ThermaHeat Tank Pad. The water tank heating pad may experience high resistance and fail. A heating pad failure can increase the risk of a fire. NHTSA says 3,019 units are potentially affected by the recall.
