The following safety recalls were issued Monday by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA):
- Farber Specialty Vehicles is recalling certain Farber vehicles equipped with certain S-Series and K-Series wheelchair platform lifts. Please see the recall report for a complete list of models. The electrical contactor may fail, preventing the controls from stopping the lift. A wheelchair lift that continues to move while occupied increases the risk of injury. NHTSA says 69 units are potentially affected by the recall.
- Grand Design RV is recalling certain 2026-2027 Lineage recreational vehicles equipped with the optional Lineage 43 tire package. The vehicle's top speed may exceed the tire's speed rating. A tire may fail while traveling at higher speeds, increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 42 units are potentially affected by the recall.
- Micro Bird is recalling certain 2025-2026 G5e school buses. A wiring harness may have been incorrectly routed. A metal bracket may contact and damage the harness, causing a loss of drive power. A loss of driver power increases the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 197 units are potentially affected by the recall
- Micro Bird is recalling certain 2025-2027 G5e school buses. A wiring harness may have been incorrectly routed. A metal bracket may contact and damage the harness, causing a loss of drive power. A loss of driver power increases the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 81 units are potentially affected by the recall.
