The following safety recalls were issued Monday by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA):
- Forest River is recalling certain 2025-2026 Cedar Creek fifth wheel recreational trailers. The sleeper sofa may block the bunkroom door. A blocked door can prevent or delay occupants from exiting during an emergency, increasing their risk of injury. NHTSA says 132 units are potentially affected by the recall.
- REV Recreation Group is recalling certain 2025-2026 American Coach American Dream, 2026-2027 Fleetwood Discovery LXE, 2026 Fleetwood Palisade, and Holiday Rambler Armada recreational vehicles. The RoadWatch Safety System may have been programmed with the incorrect vehicle parameters. Safety functions that depend on RoadWatch, such as electronic stability control (ESC), may have diminished or lost functionality, increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 47 units are potentially affected by the recall.
- Volvo Bus Corporation is recalling certain 2009-2025 Volvo 9700 buses. The emergency exit label on the entrance door is missing the exit operating instructions. As such, these vehicles fail to conform to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 217, "Bus Emergency Exits and Window Retention and Release." The missing information may prevent or delay the use of the emergency exit, increasing the risk of injury. NHTSA says 1,236 units are potentially affected by the recall.
- Winnebago Industries is recalling certain 2027 Arka recreational vehicles. The rear Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) and cold tire inflation listed on the federal placard is incorrect. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of FMVSS number 120, "Wheels and Rims - Other than Passenger Cars." An incorrect GAWR and cold tire inflation combination can lead to unintentionally overloading the tires, increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 56 units are potentially affected by the recall.
