Trucks, Parts, Service is thrilled to open the nomination period for our 11th annual Successful Dealer Award, sponsored by Automann, Interstate Billing Service, Karmak and National Truck Protection/Premium 2000.
The highly regarding Successful Dealer Award program is a unique entity in the trucking industry, an annual award program that seeks to recognize medium- and heavy-duty truck dealers for their commitment to their customers, associates and the transportation industry.
The award program uses a detailed evaluation rubric to assess dealers on a number of qualities. Five dealers who display consistent excellence in serving customers, evolving and aggressively responding to changing industry conditions, investing heavily in internal workforce education and development and committing to industrywide associations and programs are selected each year as finalists for the award, with a winner being selected through an arduous internal decision-making process by TPS and Randall Reilly associates.

All medium- and heavy-duty truck dealers of new and/or used equipment (except last year’s winner) are eligible to participate and anyone in the trucking industry is encouraged to nominate a dealer for the annual award. Dealers who are named a finalist for this year’s program will receive two all-inclusive reservations to our annual Successful Dealer Award summit, which will be held in October in Nashville.
The Successful Dealer Award summit is an exclusive multi-day dealer executive networking and educational event. Only 2023 award finalists and prior award winners are invited to attend the program, and the event schedule is built with high-value industry discussions and takeaways designed to enable attendees to immediately return home and improve their business. Last year’s event achieved a nearly 100 percent approval rating and this year’s event will add even more networking and educational discussion to enhance the experience for all dealer attendees.
The nomination period for this year’s award will run until May 31, 2023. Interested parties can nominate as many businesses as possible. All nominated dealers will then have the opportunity to accept their nomination before the award program evaluation process begins. Finalists will be announced after a reflection period in July.
