
GlobalTechIQ acquired CarTech IQ Florida and says the two platforms — one for heavy-duty and one for automotive — will now both operate as GlobalTechIQ.

The diagnostic software company says its focused on helping repair facilities improve technician efficiency, reduce diagnostic guesswork and move vehicles through the repair process quickly. The software analyzes diagnostic codes, reported symptoms, recalls, vehicle history and other information to provide technicians with ranked probably repair scenarios and diagnostic guidance.
"Our product gives technicians a faster path from symptoms and trouble codes to the most probably repair," says John Stoeckinger, co-chairman and CEO of GlobalTechIQ. "It brings together information that technicians would otherwise have to locate and evaluate across multiple sources. That means less nonproductive diagnostic time, greater consistency across the shop, and more vehicles repaired correctly and efficiently.
