Fullbay recently hosted its largest every Diesel Connect conference, the company said.

Nearly 400 attendees were at the event May 19-21 at theFullbay Logo 1400 Gila River Resort in Chandler, Ariz. They came from heavy-duty repair shops, mobile service operations and internal fleet maintenance teams and included more than 150 owners, presidents, CEOs and founders.

"Diesel Connect has grown from an educational customer event into a must-attend, central hub for the heavy-duty repair industry focused on learning and connection," says Trent Boberg, CEO of Fullbay. "What I take away from this year is the energy. Shop owners and fleet leaders came ready to share what's working, what's not and where the industry needs to go. That kind of honest, in-the-room conversation is exactly what moves this industry forward and it's what we will keep building on for future events."

The agenda featured:

  • A keynote by NASCAR analyst Larry McReynolds who talked about building teams under pressure.
  • A session on accountability and what it takes to lead high-performing organizations from Dave Anderson of LearnToLead.
  • A session from Dr. Alex Leslie of the American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI) sharing the latest industry research on the economic and operational forces shaping commercial trucking.
  • A American Trucking Associations' Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC) session on industry standards and best practices.

TMC was one of the lead partners in the event's sponsor roster which also included companies in diagnostics, payments, fleet technology, industry education and workforce development.

Attendees also got a look at Fullbay Next, the newest generation of its platform. It's designed around an AI-native approach that represents a major evolution in the system. It's initial release is planned for summer 2026 and will be geared toward mobile service and solo and smaller entrepreneur shops. And they got to see Pitstop, the AI-powered predictive maintenance and fleet intelligence platform Fullbay acquired in March.

"What we showed onstage last week was a glimpse of how Fullbay is rapidly evolving and where we're headed," Broberg says. "Predictive maintenance in this industry has been a subject of discussion for years, but the pieces to deliver on it have never been in one place. We have more than a decade of real-world repair data from thousands of shops running on our platform — data no one else in heavy-duty has. Paired with our next generation technology, Fullbay is positioned to bring dependable predictive maintenance to life."
