Noregon has announced its latest addition to its DLA family of adapters with the launch of the DLA+ 3.0 XBT.
Noregon says this next-gen adapter offers a seamless connection process whether wired or wireless, plus enhanced processing times and future-proofed with compatibility for upcoming vehicle protocol changes.
The DLA+ 3.0 XBT adapter connects shop devices to all makes of commercial vehicles and heavy-duty equipment to perform diagnostics and inspections. In addition to wired and wireless connectivity, the adapter includes Bluetooth technology with an exterior button for faster pairing — the inspiration behind its name, XBT (Exterior Bluetooth), the company says.

“The release of this innovative adapter is another step toward ensuring technicians have the tools they need to fix all fleet vehicles and equipment,” says Brian Sexton, product manager for Noregon. “The XBT adapter is future proofed for emerging technologies so shops can be confident in their hardware for years to come.”
Noregon says future proofing measures include compatibility with Diagnostics over Internet Protocol (DoIP) and an ability to measure electrical properties such as amps or voltage during a diagnostic session. Additionally, the DLA+ 3.0 XBT adapter features Smart Cable technology that can auto-detect what type of cable is connected to ensure technicians initiate the proper type of diagnostic connection.
The company adds the RP1210C-compliant adapter is compatible with JPRO and most major OE diagnostic software applications. All heavy-duty protocols are supported through wired and wireless connections, Noregon says.
The DLA+ 3.0 XBT is available on Noregon’s website and included in all product bundles that feature an adapter kit, the company adds.
