Mack says the all-new Mack Anthem is now available on its Mack Truck Builder digital platform

"Making the all-new Anthem available on our Truck Builder platform gives customers the ability to explore and customize this game-changing truck at their convenience," says David Galbraith, Mack Trucks' vice president of global brand and marketing. "This tool provides a comprehensive and intuitive way for fleet managers and owner-operators to build their ideal Anthem configuration, whether they need a day cab or sleeper, before connecting with their local dealer."

The free Mack Truck Builder allows prospective buyers to explore and configure every aspect of the Anthem to meet their operational needs. It features full 3D renderings of the truck's interior and exterior in each of the Anthem's available configurations: day cab, 44-inch sleeper and 64-inch sleeper.

Users can select from an expanded exterior color palette; choose interior trim options and premium features; configure powertrain specifications; customize axles, suspension and chassis components; specify safety features including an optional digital mirror system; add connectivity features, including the Mack Connect telematics platform.

"The Truck Builder allows customers to experience the Anthem's enhanced maneuverability features and understand how its 113.5-inch bumper-to-back-of-cab length will benefit their specific applications," says Fernando Couciero, vice president of highway tricks at Mack. "Whether they're configuring a day cab for urban delivery or a sleeper for overnight routes, customers can tailor the Anthem to maximize both efficiency and driver satisfaction."

The Anthem opened for orders earlier this month. Mack says the truck offers up to a 10% improvement in fuel efficiency compared with the previous model. That could potentially save fleets about $5,000 annually per truck, the company says. The cab is nine inches wider than the previous model and also has improved forward visibility and advanced safety features, including the standard Mack Protect collision mitigation system, the company says.

Once the configuration is complete, Mack says the platform allows customers to connect with their local Mack dealer to finalize the order. Users can save, share and modify their build as needed.

"The Anthem represents a new standard in the industry, excelling in both day cab and sleeper configurations," Galbraith says. "Our Truck Builder ensures customers can explore every innovation and feature that makes this truck exceptional, from the redesigned hood that improves visibility to the premium driver comfort features available across all configurations."

Production of the Anthem is set to begin in January.
