NTEA, the Association for the work truck industry, announces work truck industry chassis manufacturers will gather Sept. 13–14, 2022, at Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Sandusky, Ohio, for the 2022 Commercial Vehicle Upfitting Summit.

Formerly known as NTEA's Truck Product Conference, this annual event is an important opportunity for the technical community to preview commercial vehicle updates and engage with OEM engineers on critical upfitting issues. Industry professionals can learn about important changes to powertrains, electrical systems, chassis structures and other vehicle systems. Having the ability to speak directly with chassis OEM engineers and product specialists translates to practical support for upfitters, NTEA says.

“Commercial Vehicle Upfitting Summit provides a venue where upfitters and equipment manufacturers can collaborate with OEMs, obtain the latest technical information, and then apply those learnings into their product planning,” says Kevin Koester, NTEA managing director. “We’re excited to provide this connection point that helps upfitters develop new and innovative products their customers can use to get their work done.”

In addition to discovering the latest vehicle updates, attendees can participate in Q&A sessions with OEM technical representatives, network with other commercial vehicle professionals, and check out industry partner demonstrations.

Participating chassis manufacturers confirmed for the summit include:

  • Daimler Truck North America
  • Ford Pro
  • GM Fleet
  • Hino Trucks
  • International Truck
  • Isuzu Commercial Truck of America
  • Peterbilt Motors Company
  • Ram Commercial
  • Toyota Motor North America

NTEA says attendees who register for Commercial Vehicle Upfitting Summit by Aug. 11, 2022 will receive advance pricing ($199 NTEA member/$299 nonmember). After this date, rates increase to $229 member/$329 non-member.
