The following employment changes were announced to the trucking industry the week of May 23, 2022:
- HD Repair Forum leadership has recognized Mark Polzin, owner and CEO of Budget Truck and Auto, as the Collision Repairer of the Year. The award is presented to an individual for outstanding leadership, dedication and commitment to advancing the heavy-duty collision repair industry.
- Wilbur 'Dean' Hupe, founder of Country Supply Inc., in Manteno, Ill., has died. He was 84.
- Daimler Truck North America has appointed Joanna Cooper general manager of its Mount Holly, N.C., manufacturing plant.
- Tim King has joined Tectran as Southeastern territory manager.
