SkillsUSA Massachusetts has set up office at Advantage Truck Group's Raynham facility.

ATG donated the space on the second floor for state staff, historical displays and meeting space.

"Relocating to ATG's Raynham facility aligns perfectly with our mission to empower students to become skilled professionals, career-ready leaders and responsible community members, and our goal to help students bridge that gap between education and industry," says Karen Ward, SkillsUSA Massachusetts executive director. "Having our offices located inside a company that's employing our students creates the perfect marriage of skill development and workforce development."

Since 2021, ATG has also volunteered to host the SkillsUSA Massachusetts Diesel Equipment Technology competition. That competition provides hands-on learning experiences for the state's career and technical education students.

"The need for skilled professionals is a challenge for the heavy-duty truck business and other skilled careers, and workforce development through education and skill development is critical to solving this issue," says ATG President and CEO Kevin Holmes. "We're proud to provide a home base for SkillsUSA Massachusetts where they can continue to advance their mission and support the next generation of skilled professionals."
