AutoPower announces leadership transition

AutoPower Corporation has announced changes in its leadership team, effective today.

The move follows the recent passing of Michael Mallory, AutoPower founder and president. Yolanda Mallory, Mike’s widow, will assume the position of president and has brought on board three family members who have been named corporate vice presidents: daughter Meredith Mallory, son Chris Mallory, and daughter-in-law Wendy Mallory.

Meredith and Chris will serve in advisory roles, while Wendy will take over day-to-day operations and oversight of the business, along with the preexisting AutoPower leadership team.

According to Yolanda, AutoPower has always been something of a family affair. Shortly after the company’s founding in 1977, Theresa Malecki, Mike’s sister, worked side by side with him, turning passion into progress. Today, she remains an integral part of the team as a programmer, proving that AutoPower’s legacy is built on collaboration and commitment.

“Mike always wanted his company to remain a family-led venture,” Yolanda Mallory says. “I’m certain many of AutoPower’s customers can relate to this leadership move, since many of which are independent companies that are also family-owned and operated.”

Additionally, three longtime AutoPower managers have been promoted to directors, reporting to Wendy Mallory: Ray Quirindongo is now director of Information Technology, Todd Register is director of Application Development & Support, and Kathleen Young is Director of Administration.

“These three devoted and talented professionals have been instrumental to AutoPower’s success, and their contributions will be more important than ever as our company enters an exciting new era of innovation and growth,” says Yolanda Mallory.
