
The following employment announcements were made in the trucking industry the week of Jan. 20, 2025:
- The Mobility Technology Council of MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers has added Pete Bradley, Head of International Technical Training and Association Affairs, Hella Gutmann Solutions GmbH, to its executive committee.
- Dominic Grote, president and CEO at Grote Industries, was inducted into the Heavy Duty Aftermarket Hall of Fame during Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week.
- The inaugural HDAW Women in Leadership Award was presented to Toni Nastali, owner of Spring-Align.
- Carlos Gonzalez was named president and CEO of Cespira, a joint venture between Westport Fuel Systems and Volvo Group, effective April 1. He succeeds Dan Sceli, CEO of Westport, who was interim CEO of Cespira and will continue to sit on Cespira's board.
- The ASE Education Foundation named a new officers and board members for 2025. They are: Dwayne Myers, president and CEO of Dynamic Automotive, as chair; Brian LaCroix, instructor at Capital Region BOCES, as vice chair; Jim Sennett, manager of automotive repair programs for the American Automobile Association (AAA), as treasurer; Fay Watts, technical support operations technician development manager for Ford, as secretary. Past chair is Joelle Pollak, co-founder of Promotive.
- Jake Montero is the new general manager of Peterbilt and vice president of Paccar. Erik Johnson will succeed him as Peterbilt's assistant general manager of sales and marketing.
