
The Commercial Vehicle Solutions Network (CVSN) has launched 'An Essential Part,' a six-week video series and national awareness campaign created to spotlight the wide range of rewarding and high-demand careers within the commercial vehicle aftermarket industry.
The series premiered Wednesday at 12 p.m. ET, and moving forward CVSN says each weekly video will feature real professionals from across the industry — technicians, recent graduates, sales leaders and executives — sharing their personal journeys and passion for this vital sector.
“The independent commercial vehicle aftermarket powers the backbone of our nation — and it’s brimming with opportunity,” says Edward Kuo, executive director of CVSN. “Through this video series, we’re launching an industry-wide campaign to redefine how the world sees trucks and truck parts. Our goal: attract top-tier talent by showcasing the rewarding, dynamic careers waiting in this essential sector.”

At the heart of the campaign is the message “I Am An Essential Part,” a powerful reminder that every individual in the aftermarket industry plays a key role in keeping the world moving. The series also ties into CVSN’s broader Industry Awareness Pillar, one of the organization’s core initiatives for strengthening and elevating the image of the heavy-duty industry.
“Why are we doing this?” Kuo says. “As part of our Industry Awareness Pillar, CVSN is equipping our members and everyone in the industry with some new tools to help elevate the image of heavy duty. All we ask is for our members and anyone in the industry to repost or like every one of the videos you see to help spread the good word!”
