
Dr. Tobias Brandis will be Daimler Truck's new chief legal and compliance officer effective Oct. 1. He succeeds Dr. Florian Hofer, who left the company to pursue other opportunities.

Brandis will also take the position of human rights officer. He studied law in Germany and Switzerland and earned his doctorate in Munich. He was most recently president of Wacker Chemie AG's global polysilicon business unit.
