Phillips Industries has released its February 2019 issue of Qwik Tech Tips.

This month’s issue address intermittent lighting failures, such as flickering lamps or sections of lights going out. The company says when a driver notices “flickering lights or a group of lights out, there could be several reasons for the malfunction, other than just a bad lamp. A simple 7-way socket circuit checker and plug circuit checker, to check for electrical continuity, can help troubleshoot the problem.”

Phillips then provides troubleshooting guidance for testing visual pin degradation and/or corrosion build up, tractor sockets, electric cable assemblies, and trailer 7-way electrical systems.
