Jack’s Truck & Equipment joins dealer group

Jack’s Truck & Equipment, a Freightliner and Western Star dealer with three stores in Wyoming, has united with Floyd’s Truck Center and Eddie’s Truck Center under the mutual ownership of the Gillam family.

As a team, the three organizations (Floyd’s, Eddie’s, and Jack’s) now operate eight stores that cover all of Wyoming, western Nebraska, and western South Dakota.

“We are excited about this opportunity to join with Floyds and Eddies and look forward to utilizing our combined resources to improve our ability to provide all our customers with the very best service, better parts inventory, and a great vehicle inventory,” says Kevin Chaffee, general manager of Jack’s Truck & Equipment in Casper, Wyo. Along with Freightliner and Western Star, Jack’s represents Autocar and Gehl.

“Jack’s Truck & Equipment exemplifies 35 years of successful service to their customers, and throughout that time they have cultivated the values of a family-owned business. We run our business with the same family values and customer-first mentality, so it was a great fit,” says Michael Gillam, general manager of Floyd’s Truck Center in Cheyenne, Wyo.

According to the the company, the eight stores abut one another geographically, and will provide regional trucking firms a single team to provide trucks, equipment, parts, and service.

Moving forward the eight operations also are looking to go the extra mile, build on each other’s strengths, and continue to provide the highest level of service in the region, the company says.
