Ryder to open full-service facility in Pennsylvania

Ryder System Inc. has announced the grand opening of a state-of-the-art, full-service maintenance facility in Reading, Pa. The Ryder facility, located at 86 Ashley Way, offers customers access to the major trucking highway Route 61, connecting the area to both I-78 and I-81.

Ryder is holding a ribbon-cutting celebration from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. EDT, Thursday, Sept. 20. The event is open to the public and will provide guests with the opportunity to learn more about Ryder’s maintenance capabilities and advanced fuel vehicles with tours of the facility and vehicle demonstrations, according to an announcement. Dennis Cooke, Ryder president of fleet management solutions, will be in attendance.
