Floyd’s Truck Center acquires two dealerships

Floyds Truck Center Logo 300x164Floyd’s Truck Center has acquired Freightliner and Kubota dealerships in Belgrade, Mont. Formerly known as Rocky Mountain Truck Center and Elite Kubota, both dealerships will take on the Floyd’s name, doing business as Floyd’s Truck Center and Floyd’s Kubota.

The acquisition extends the reach of Floyd’s Truck Center into southern Montana and increases its operation to nine truck dealerships, the company says.

Floyd’s Truck Center in Belgrade is a Freightliner and Western Star dealership located off I-90 at Exit 298. The dealership is open seven days a week, providing customers with truck and trailer sales, service and parts. Floyd’s Belgrade is an Elite Support Certified dealership focusing on providing high-quality truck repairs, stocking a wide variety of OEM and aftermarket parts and continuous training for its employees.

“The Belgrade location was a good cultural fit with our team as well as a good geographical fit for our customers. These were two of the primary reasons we felt the acquisition made sense,” says Michael Gillam, owner, Floyd’s Truck Center.

The acquisitions expand Floyd’s current product portfolio to include the Kubota tractor and heavy equipment line. Floyd’s Kubota offers lawn, agriculture and construction equipment parts, service and sales seven days a week.

“We are excited to represent Kubota in Belgrade. They make a great product and it complements our truck business well. We really look forward to taking care of existing Kubota customers as well as earning new ones,” says Jon Gillam, owner, Floyd’s Truck Center.
