Turbo Solutions has announced three technical turbocharger training classes in 2022.
These 30-minute virtual classes are specifically for inside and outside truck parts sales people, technicians and shop managers. Turbo Solutions says information covered in the classes will focus on common causes of premature failure, turbocharger maintenance and general product knowledge.
Turbo Solutions says the classes are as follows:
- May 20: How to murder a VGT turbocharger. Top Five tips to avoid premature failure
- Sept. 23: 95 percent of turbocharger oil leaks are not the turbo. How to diagnose oil leakage root causes
- Nov. 18 Rebuilt vs. remanufactured turbocharger. What’s the difference?
“Turbochargers are all we do, this laser focus allows us have an understanding of common failures and root causes at the shop level," says John Ferry, executive vice president, Turbo Solutions. "Many turbocharger failures are repetitive, due to improper diagnosis and maintenance practices. Our goal is to help our authorized dealer partners to educate their customers and remove some of the myths associated with turbocharger failures."
