The National Trailer Dealers Association (NTDA) will debut a new webinar series in 2022 focused on helping members navigate tight supply chains effecting the commercial trailer industry.

NTDA says understanding global market conditions and their impacts on supply and manufacturing costs is critical to OEMs and dealers alike. In its first webinar, set for 2 p.m. ET, on Feb. 23, NTDA will provide the latest developments from the extruded aluminum market. During the webinar, attendees will gain a better understanding of global market dynamics, tariffs, supply chain bottlenecks, extrusion mill lead times, labor shortages, and other factors impacting this key commodity.

The webinar will feature industry panelists Sarah Howcroft, CFA, senior economist and vice president at BMO Capital Markets; Michael Zimm, CFA, senior industry analyst, BMO Transportation Finance; and Jerrod Hoeft, vice president, National Accounts – Transportation, Hydro Extruded Solutions. Additionally, NTDA Board Member William Schaffer, vice president of sales, Overseas Hardwoods Company, will facilitate the session.

The webinar series is free to members as a benefit of membership, and is available to non-members for $99. Additionally, NTDA says non-members who join now to participate in this series will be able to attend future NTDA webinars at no cost.
