Scholarships awarded in memory of Four Star Freightliner employee

Four Star Freightliner in Dothan, Alabama, awarded five scholarships in memory of Zachary Sizemore, who worked for Four Star Freightliner before losing his fight with cancer in 2016.

"I had the privilege of working alongside Zack during his time with Four Star," says Four Star CFO Scott Coleson. "Zack was passionate about most things in his life, but he was definitely passionate about h is work. I always admired that he didn't hold back and faced things head on." 

The 2023 Zachary Sizemore Memorial Scholarship recipients are: 

  • Rebecca Salter, Tift County High School, Tifton, Georgia. 
  • Zoe Littlefield, Rehobeth High School, Rehobeth, Alabama. 
  • Lauren Shiver, Headland High School, Headland, Alabama. 
  • Lindsey Mainor, Tift County High School, Tifton, Georgia. 
  • Lily Hammon, Cottonwood High School, Cottonwood, Alabama. 

Each student will receive a one-time, $1,000 award applicable to the college of their choosing. There have been 29 scholarships awarded since 2017.
