The Motor and Equipment Remanufacturers Association (MERA) will host a private reception for members and invited VIP guests in the heavy-duty remanufacturing industry before the start of Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week 2014.

The reception will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014 at the Mirage in Las Vegas preceding the HDAW.

“Remanufacturing is an important part of the heavy-duty aftermarket, and we want to offer executives in our growing sector the opportunity to network and find new opportunities to create value,” says John Chalifoux, president and COO. “We sincerely appreciate the support of our premier partners — Experian Automotive and Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems — to make this event possible.”

According to Remanufacturing News, members of MERA and the Heavy-Duty Manufacturers Association (HDMA) are invited to register as complimentary VIP guests. Others may register for a nominal fee. Space is limited and only registered guests may attend, so members and prospective guests are encouraged to register early, MERA says.

The reception will feature cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and mini exhibits presented by MERA’s premier partners, MERA says.
