BettsHD gearing up for active HDAW

BettsHD will have a big presence at Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW), set for later this month, Jan. 26-29, 2015, at the Mirage in Las Vegas.

The company has announced it is a featured sponsor for this year’s event. It also will be active at the HDAW trade show (Booth 611) and is sponsoring the attendance for two students in Northwood University’s internship program who are interested in the heavy-duty aftermarket. The internship program is being organized by GenNext, the heavy-duty aftermarket’s newest group formed to educate, mentor and recruit the next generation of aftermarket leaders.

Bill Betts, vice president of Betts Company and board member of GenNext, says, “We eagerly support GenNext, an organization we believe will make a difference in building the talent pool for future industry leaders. We are also excited to participate in Northwood University’s internship program, supporting two students excited to join the next generation of our industry.”

Member of the BettsHD team and its Northwood University interns also will attend the Heavy Duty Leaders of Tomorrow (LOT) luncheon, an event for HDAW attendees under 45 years of age looking to grow their connections in the industry and learn techniques to advance their careers.

The L.O.T. luncheon, scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015, is a networking-focused luncheon with a brief presentation on topics for career growth and advancement from industry members and experts, the company says.
