Jim Downey, a longtime aftermarket veteran who had been with Hutchens Industries for nearly 12 years, has died. He was 65.

Downey was Southeast regional sales manager at Hutchens Industries. His dedication and commitment to his customers has been an integral part of Hutchens’ success and growth. His love for his family, friends, and faith was the focus of his life. He will be dearly missed, the company says.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Jim’s honor to Saint Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church Building Fund (P.O. Box 380396, Birmingham, AL 35238) or to pancreatic cancer research through the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (pancan.org).
