Fairbanks Scales has introduced a new line of mobile weighing products that help customers respond to the huge increases in next-day and same-day deliveries.

According to the company, the product line includes pallet jacks, forklift scales, and hydraulic weighing devices ideal for ensuring faster processing throughout the material handling process. The offerings include the Pallet Weigh and Pallet Weigh Plus Series pallet jacks for weighing pallets on the jack; the BlueLine Series weigh forks with a built-in weighing device; the CP Series carriage plate scale; and the FH and FHX Series hydraulic weighing devices.

Fairbanks Scales says the new line of mobile weighing products speed material movement in warehouses, cross-docks, manufacturing facilities, and transportation hubs.

Fairbanks Pallet Weigh Series heavy-duty pallet jack scales are designed for weighing pallets on the jack, providing immediate weighment information. Available in 3K and 5K capacities, the Pallet Weigh Series provides a quick weight capturing process for fast-moving, limited space environments. Also available is the Pallet Weigh Plus Series, which features additional printer, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi capabilities, the company says.

The Fairbanks BlueLine Series weigh forks transform Class II and III cleat type forklifts into an accurate scale quickly and easily. The BlueLine Series scale is completely wireless, the company says, using Bluetooth technology and a built-in power source that uses onboard rechargeable batteries. The BlueLine Series is designed to replace OEM forks, providing a quick, inexpensive, and accurate way to add weighing capabilities to existing forklifts.

Also available is the CP Series carriage plate scale, which replaces the forklift’s OEM carriage plate using standard FEM fittings. Weight is transmitted from the scale to the display wirelessly via Bluetooth. The FH and FHX Series of hydraulic load indication systems monitor forklift hydraulics. They are designed to add weighing capabilities to existing forklifts in more rugged environments. Fairbanks says customers should select the FH Series for simple check weighing, with a tolerance of two percent of the weighing capacity. Choose the FHX Series for improved accuracy and a standard capacity up to 10 tons. With a maximum tolerance of 0.2 percent of the weighing capacity, the FHX comes with additional printer, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi capabilities, the company says.
