The organizers of the 13th annual Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW) introduce two new programs to the HDAW 2018 docket for independent distributors attending the conference: The Hands-On Training Program and HDAW Reserved Meal Tables.
HDAW organizers CVSN, HDDA and HDMA describe the events as follows:
HDAW Reserved Meal Tables
Want more meetings? Suppliers participating in One-on-One meetings during HDAW now have the option to schedule four extra meetings in a more intimate surrounding instead of waiting in line for a table at a Mirage restaurant! A private area in the Mirage Grand Ballroom is now set aside with reserved tables during the scheduled breakfast and lunch times on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The reserved ballroom sections will be set with dividers surrounding tables of 8-10 for privacy purposes. Organizers say each table will be identified with a company sign and buffets will be set up specifically for the private dining areas. Companies who participate will have the same table for breakfast and lunch on both days, organizers says. Now that is a more efficient way to have a breakfast or lunch meeting during HDAW.
“The difficult task is finding ways to attract more distributors to HDAW. We want to not only find new attendees to come, but need to give reason for them to return year after year,” says Troy Zurbuchen, president, Midwest Heavy Duty and Midwest Trailer Sales, and HDAW 2018 co-chair. “We are hoping that providing additional meeting times through the HDAW reserved meals program will do just that.”
