The MERA-Golisano Conference for remanufacturing has added new participants in preparation for next month’s event. More than two dozen remanufacturers are now confirmed to attend the upcoming event.

Scheduled for Oct. 4, 2017, in Troy, Mich., the MERA-Golisano Conference follows the Oct. 3 MERA Remanufacturing Technology Forum at Wayne State University in Detroit.

Organizers say the MERA-Golisano Conference is “changing the narrative on remanufacturing.” The event will feature a keynote address from Navistar President, Chairman and CEO Troy Clarke; a presentation on global challenges for remanufacturing by Golisano Institute’s Dr. Nabil Nasr, PhD; a discussion of ‘Sustainable Development: From a Brownfield to the Winner’s Circle’ with Brad Oleshansky, rounder and CEO, M1 Concourse; panel discussions on the economics of remanufacturing and the strategic importance of remanufacturing; as well a leadership luncheon address by Thomas M. Gartland, former president, North America, Avis Budget Group.
