Hoyt’s Truck Center is opening a third location that will specialize in trailer repair, which will provide the Topeka, Kan.-based business more space for its full-service offerings for light-, medium- and heavy-duty trucks.
Hoyt Moore co-owns the business with his wife, Laurie. Hoyt says he started the tractor-trailer repair business in 1991 as a one-man shop, according to a report in The Topeka Capital-Journal.
The couple then purchased ground at the current location, 4425 N.W. US-24 highway, opening the truck center, he says. They expanded that location before opening a pickup truck repair shop at 401 N.E. US-24 highway.
The current expansion, Hoyt’s Trailer Center, is located just east of US-75 at N.W. 25th Street.
