US Cargo Control has launched a new website, the company announced Thursday. The completely redesigned website offers visitors a more modern and streamlined purchasing experience for more than 11,000 cargo control products.

US Cargo Control says the newly revamped website has been over two years in the making. The site features product filtering options, similar product suggestions, more detailed product information, and highly intuitive navigation. All of this promises a more informed and time-saving purchasing experience for thousands of customers, the company says.

In addition to the benefits of being able to search less and find more, the new US Cargo Control website also boasts faster site speed, enhanced security, more clear shipping details, and a more mobile friendly platform. The company says smartphone and tablet users will now find it easier than ever to shop from their mobile devices.

“Nowadays it’s really an expectation for websites to be mobile friendly and the industries we serve are comprised of folks who are always on the move. They’re often working from the road or job site and don’t always have access to desktop computers or the time to mess around with a clunky website,” says Tom Altman, chief technology officer, US Cargo Control. “We set out to create the new standard for cargo control websites so we could give our hardworking customers the fast and easy shopping experience they need and deserve.”

The company adds another new feature of the website is “Best Seller” badges, which tell customers which products are most popular within a category.

Despite all the major advances in the online experience, Chief Sales Officer Zach Schmitt says customers are still able to contact the dedicated team of US Cargo Control products experts over the phone to place orders, inquire about custom pricing programs, and ask questions about products.

“We have teams of highly specialized individuals working from our Urbana, Iowa headquarters, and our new website does not change their focus or dedication in any way,” says Schmitt. “Our hope is that businesses and individuals will continue to place orders in the way that’s most convenient for them. Visit the website first to see what we offer, and always feel free to call in you find you have additional questions, need custom equipment made, or if you would like a dedicated business development consultant on your team.”
